Having tasted the Gourmet God "Air," Toriko and his allies begin to undergo a massive, irreversible change in their Gourmet Cells. Their joy is short-lived, for a sinister shadow soon closes in on Komatsu. It proves to be Teppei the Regeneration Man, who has fallen to the evil organization NEO. The defenseless Komatsu is dealt a fatal wound and left on the brink of death. Searching for the one thing that can save his friend, Toriko sets out after the next ingredient, "Pair," heading into the perilous, uncharted Area 7.
