The Great Age of Pirates has begun, sparked by the execution of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, who left behind the fabled treasure One Piece. Young Monkey D. Luffy, who accidentally ate the Gum-Gum Fruit and turned his body to rubber, sets out to claim that treasure and become the next King of the Pirates.
