As the town-wide Goddess Eris Thanksgiving Festival draws near, the useless goddess Aqua sulks that only she goes unworshipped. Teaming up with the runaway Axis Church priestess Cecily, she schemes to force a joint co-hosted Aqua Festival into the event. But the moment the name of the widely loathed Axis Church comes up, everyone openly recoils. As the fight over the festival's spotlight and gathering followers heats up, Aqua's antics once again drag the whole town in. A high-gag, laid-back slice-of-life fourteenth volume.

Fed up, Aqua flaunts her goddess power and blows the commotion up, leaving Kazuma's party running around to clean up the mess. In the end it turns out the townsfolk just wanted festive fun rather than sectarian squabbling, so both camps grudgingly cooperate and the festival succeeds. Aqua puffs out her chest in triumph, but most of the earnings vanish into booze and damages, and as always Kazuma's wallet is left weeping.
