With little Mikan utterly hooked on it, Ryotsu declares he'll take the panda car to go see a real panda, sparking a downtown-wide uproar in the title story "The Panda Car." This expanded volume packs in seventeen stories, keeping Ryotsu's trademark habit of running wild whenever a child's pure excitement sets him off, all colored by the nostalgic streets of Kameari and Asakusa in a collection of self-contained gags.
