Armed with discount tickets from Dr. Agasa, Conan and the Junior Detective League head to the movies. Conan is bored by the monster film he watched to death as a kid, but the theater turns out to be a fateful place, closing its doors for good after today's final screening. Soon murderous intent swirls inside, and Conan is pulled into an unexpected case. From there come more trick-laden puzzles: a truth hidden inside a mirror and a baffling disappearance at the seaside. The little detective carefully unravels each culprit's plan from the smallest cracks in ordinary life.
