Prompted by a baffling family incident troubling Momo's childhood friend Jin "Jiji" Enjoji, Okarun and the group travel to Jiji's home in a hot-springs town. An uneasy air hanging over the town and the shadow of a clan clinging to old customs lead the three toward a new supernatural threat. Unlike the alien-driven fights, a story of curses and spirits rooted in the land begins to move, testing not only Momo and Okarun's bond but also their new ties with Jiji.
