Ginjo's true aim in approaching Ichigo is revealed: to pass the powers of his fellow Fullbringers to Ichigo and, in exchange, reclaim an ordinary human life. Drawn by the promise of regaining the fighting strength he lost, Ichigo agrees, and the deal is struck. He begins training to master Fullbring, the rare ability to draw out the souls dwelling in objects. Meanwhile, a mysterious shadow creeps toward Orihime as well, and the situation around Ichigo starts to move, quietly but surely. A volume where the shape of the new arc comes into view.

Bleach Vol. 50 spoilers
⚠️ Spoilers ahead.
Guided by Ginjo, Ichigo begins Fullbring training using the remnant of his lost power, his Substitute Soul Reaper badge, as its core. Fullbring, which hears and draws out the souls dwelling in objects, is utterly unlike Soul Reaper power, and Ichigo struggles before slowly awakening it. The aims of Ginjo's organization, XCUTION, remain hidden, but it is hinted they are not acting out of pure goodwill. Shadows reach Orihime and Chad too, and the possibility that this very training is a set trap begins to loom, closing on the promise of upheaval next volume.
